And this is today: 

One year ago was a blur. The day Thompson was born was completely unexpected and full of uncertainty. He came a month early by emergency c-section and had more complications than we expected. But this last year has been the best of our lives. He brings more joy, excitement, love, and laughter into our home than we could ever imagine.

Happy birthday to our little baby boy, who isn't so much of a little baby any more.
