Why March has been a good month.

- March Madness! College basketball is my favorite. Year after year March Madness never disappoints me, and this year has been no exception. We have been getting little else done, especially during the first round of the tournament. But it has been worth it for all the madness and CRAZY games (what the what pitt vs. butler game?). This year was made a little more exciting for us with BYU's success as well. Trevor even got out of his grad school class two weeks in a row. When his professor found out that Jackson Emery is Trevor's cousin, he told Trevor to stay home one week and cancelled class the next week. We are sad BYU is out of it, especially since they were capable of going farther, but we were happy to watch such an exciting season from them. Other good news about march madness - I killed Trevor's bracket. Both our brackets took quite a hit by all the upsets. I find solace in beating him though and in the fact that I at least got one of the final four teams right (thanks uconn for being one team to NOT disappoint me).

- Thompson started rolling over a few weeks ago, only to stop as suddenly as he started. He did it non-stop for about 5 days, and now refuses to have anything to do with rolling over. I can't imagine where he could get such stubbornness from.

- My sister got engaged! Which means we get to go out to Chicago in May! We are pretty excited for these two, and I am especially happy they gave me an excuse to fly out to see my family.

- A few weekends ago Trevor and I went to check out the new Whole Foods in Trolley Square. We stocked up on $.99/lb asparagus (cheap asparagus in the spring is the best) and more kinds of cheese than two people should ever buy. Good news: the new Trolley Square Whole Foods is amazing and I want to shop there every single day. Bad news: the new Trolley Square Whole Foods is amazing and I can't shop there every single day.

- Thompson became a Miami Heat fan, thanks to his Uncle Corbin.

- With the weather getting warmer (kind of) and cold/flu season coming to an end, we started taking Thompson out more, including to church. He is not sure how he feels about it yet.

- I found my new favorite book: "The 90-Minute Baby Sleep Program: Follow Your Child's NaturalSleep Rhythms for Better Nights and Naps". It has made naps 1000x easier for us. The book advocates the idea of putting your child down for a nap 90 minutes after they last woke up, no matter how long or short their last nap was. I didn't think it would work, and it seemed like too short of an interval to me, but it has made life much easier. It hasn't solved all our nap time problems, but now it takes about 10-20 minutes to get Thompson down for a nap, instead of the 1-2 hours of crying and whining that was happening.

- Oh, and this little boy still has tons of hair, the longest eye lashes, and is cuter than ever.
